Q: How did you come up with the name of the website?
A: Sink, Florida, Sink! is a song from the (formerly Gainesville-based) band Against Me! Although the song has nothing to do with diving, I always thought it was a rad title.
Q: What made you start the website?
A: I wanted to create a centralized hub where visitors and residents of South Florida could find dive information, ultimately forming a South Florida scuba club.
Q: Can I submit information about a dive site for you to post on the website?
A: Sure! Any up-to-date information from actual divers is helpful to us and the rest of the diving community. We love exploring new sites, so if you live in the area, we would certainly love a firsthand tour.
Q: Is there anything I can do to support Sink, Florida, Sink!?
A: Yes. In addition to telling your dive buddies about our website, you can make Amazon purchases from this link.
We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
Q: Can I use your information on my blog?
A: If you’re interested in using our content on your blog/website, please send your request for permission to Info@SinkFloridaSink.com. Ask before taking.
Q: I would like to get scuba certified. Where do I start?
A: We’re excited that you’re excited about scuba diving! Unfortunately, we are not instructors or a dive shop. We’re simply scuba obsessed! If you let us know where you’re located, we can certainly help you find a dive shop or other certification agency.
Q: Can I link to your website?
Q: Do you conduct product reviews?
A: We do as long as it’s scuba related. You can read more about our product reviews on our PR page.
