In May, Visit Palm Beach reached out to us as they were interested in creating a promotion video of their catamaran snorkeling excursions. They found us via Google while searching for Peanut Island snorkeling videos. Thank you SEO!
After setting a date for shoot, we headed to Palm Beach and stepped aboard the Hakuna Matata, their 50-foot catamaran.
Captain Brian and Deckhand Greg pointed out various yachts and mansions and who owned them, while we cruised north to Peanut Island. Keeping one ear open, we ran around the vessel capturing various angles of the ocean goers enjoying their adventures with Visit Palm Beach. After an enjoyable ride up the intercoastal we anchored down in the crystal blue waters of Palm Beach County.
Brian and Greg were extremely accommodating to allowing us to mount our camera wherever we wanted, they were beyond helpful to everyone. From showing guests how to use a mask and snorkel, to explaining the giant stride, they both showed top notch hospitality.
Everyone on board were excited we were filming. This made the assignment much easier! From being our ‘talents’ to asking about camera settings, both staff and guests were highly engaged.
The guests and myself jumped into the intercoastal to enjoy the marine life that call Peanut Island home. We spent an hour snorkeling around the artificial reefs that surround the island. With guests from Colorado, to New York to Kansas, everyone was amazed by how clear the water was.
We then climbed back onto the Hakuna Matata and enjoyed fresh cut fruit, snacks and punch.
All-in-all, it was a great, relaxing day filled with GoPros, boating and snorkeling! What more can we ask for?!
Mask, snorkel, fins and towel rentals are including when snorkeling with Visit Palm Beach.
